Escaping keeps it safe
Every value is HTML-escaped: <, > and & are turned into entities. That means a value like <script> renders as text, not as executable markup, so pasting untrusted JSON does not inject anything.
Missing keys and nesting
The header is the union of all keys; a row missing a key gets an empty cell. Nested objects and arrays are shown as compact JSON inside the cell.

Is the output styled?
No — it is plain semantic HTML so it inherits your site's styles. Wrap it in a class and target it with CSS.
Is it safe to use with data from users?
Values are HTML-escaped, so text content cannot break out into markup. Still sanitize on the server for anything security-critical.
Can I get just the rows without thead?
Delete the thead block from the output — the tbody rows stand alone if you already have a header elsewhere.
